Where: Springfield Township, NJ. Alpaca breeders as well as spinners, knitters, felters and other fiber artists are invited to visit and purchase locally produced alpaca fleeces and yarns. Free seminars and free admission to all visitors. The Fiber Fiesta also includes the Bare Naked Alpaca Show (shorn alpacas only, of course!)

September 27 - 28, 2008 – 12th Annual "Alpacas on the Rocks" Open House
Where: Jefferson County Fairgrounds Events Center, Golden, CO.
Come celebrate National Alpaca Farm Days, September 27 and 28
Time: 10AM to 4 PM Saturday and Sunday.
You can talk to numerous alpaca breeders from across Colorado all in a single location! The weekend will be filled with opportunities to visit with the stars of the event, the alpacas, plus many educational seminars covering farm management, animal husbandry and business practices. Hosted by over two-dozen farms, this indoor event also features alpaca fiber products for sale, and fiber artists spinning, weaving and knitting. Admission and parking are free.

November 8, 2008 – Alpaca Heritage Events presents Dr. LaRue Johnson’s Neonatal Clinic
Where:
Bordentown, NJ. This clinic includes 6 hours of lecture and 90 minutes of wet lab for each registrant. Topics include reproductive anatomy and physiology, breeding and pregnancy diagnosis options, gestational development, care of the pregnant dam, normal and abnormal creation, and care of the newborns as well as high risk crias. The wet lab will include diagnosing the contents of the uterus, delivery plans and cria deliveries.
Cost is $200 per person and includes lunch.

To appear in the Fall issue of Show & Tell, you must submit your listing by August 1. To be in print in the Spring issues, submit by January 15. Events from October thru March should be listed in the Fall Issue. Events from April through September should be listed in the Spring issue.
